The 「………..Oi. That way is a dead end right？ 」



The man who’ve coming from behind is said that while looking at the map as he’s heading toward me.

It’s my map of course, it was something that sold normally in the city, the map of 《Water and Moon Labyrinth》.

The price of the map of the labyrinth is greatly varied from the best to worst due to various condition.

For example, it’ll change even by the number of the floors and the difficulties of this labyrinth, the price will raise even more if there’s addition of the type of the demons and the trait of the labyrinth.

In case of minute detail, if it have record for the fixed place of the Gushing Out《Pop》 of the demon, and, there’s even a case where it’s going as far as the information in redard for the adventurers who’s going first.

Well, it have no meaning since it’s become a field called by a good map which slightly better than the map made by the others, it’s already become my disposition and half-hobby to making it while I’m walking till the end of the area.

But, the highly detailed map is definitely helpful.



When I’m saying this with this kind of view, the one held by that man is that of standard quality.

Though it have record about the passage which usually used by everyone, it’s just that, there’s absolutely no other information.

In short, it’s just a map.



Moreover, it seems according to it, the direction we’re heading to is a dead end.



And then, that’s also something that I know.

Anyhow, it’s because I also holding a similiar map.

If I say one difference between our map, mine is filled with more various information than him, you might even say that it’s transformed into another map.

My experience of diving into this place for 10 years isn’t for show, maybe the one I have is the most detailed map of 《Water and Moon Labyrinth》 in the entire Malt city.  

And on there, I’ve filling it with the new passage few days ago.

Naturally, it was the area where that mysterious being has appeared.

When I’m that unapproachable, though the man is showing a face as if he find it hard to accept, he eventually gave up resisting and just following me.

I’m clear and know when we’re walking along on the way to here, this man almost have no combat ability.

Despite holding a pretty nice weapon, not to mention mastering it, he’s not even know how to use it properly.

He’ll fall into dangerous situation if he’s separated from me in this kind of situation, the impending crisis of the weak, maybe even the man know it.



I keep advancing to the labyrinth and without saying anything further to the man.

「……………. This guy is………….？ Eh, I mean, it’s not in the map」



The man’s looking at the scenery before him and the map with dumbfounded face.

I know really well what he want to say.

Anyhow, I also has that kind of feeling the first time I found this place.

And then, I’m entered this place with renewed vigor.

Despite doing that is an extremely dangerous action.

If it’s by proper mean, I should going back once again to investigating it along with one as my comrade.

If it’s for excuse, I can’t even make one.

First, if I’m not searching for it right away, the other adventurer who’s coming before me might have reporting it first.

That’s case I must hurry up.

When I’m thinking about it now, I’ve noticing a fact said “just how many guys out there who’ll specially coming to this place which’s noted as dead end in the map“.

But, I’m actually came here, the dead end passage is the most suitable place to cornering a demon.

So it wasn’t possible to say that the other adventurers is absolutely won’t come here.

In addition to this, I was basically come by myself.

In short, I’ve not minding for my fellow like when I lead one.

Though it’s not like I don’t have a choice called Lorraine, her occupation is a scholar.

Despite she hold the ability enough for a silver rank and an ability of magic, I’m still teaching her regarding know-how of adventurer work even now, she’s not working as normal adventurer.

Still, it seems scholar profession is matching her body, it it came to her need for raw material, she usually came to me.

It seems that these days her research is about to be finished, thus it was hard to called her out.

And then, one person of the end was-for better or worse- careless.

I’m entering as I feel that there might be no significant monster ahead of this passage.

For this reason, I was entering this passage before.

Because a powerful demon usually releasing powerful presence by themself which will be known by me if I’m focusing my concentration.

Though there’s demons who’s possessing concealment ability to hide they presence if they’re unique demon or high-ranking demon, they’re rare or almost never appearing in this level of labyrinth, even for unique demon, if those monster are in this place, we might not even be able to deal with them.

Of course it’s not the meaning to fight it, it’s in the meaning “it might be possible to running away from it“.

Well, though I don’t know how it’ll turn out if you really meet it, which means that the possibility of it appearing is quite low no matter whichever floor of whichever labyrinth, nonetheless, it’s definitely is there.

Which means, seeing that you won’t do job like adventurer if you’re minding too much of it, please don’t think too much of that matter.



As a result of various things like that, I met the mysterious being.

But, that’s really can’t be helped.

It don’t give any presence snd just suddenly appeared, even when I’m tried to run, I couldn’t move my body.

One way or another, it couldn’t become a match even if there’s few people, even if you’re challenging it with preparation, it was the end once you met it.

Even if I’m regretting it once I’m thinking back about it, that the exception of the jusgement is couldn’t be done when I have not an ounce of information about it.



Well then, how about now, and speaking of it, it problably, not the best choice.

I’m currently can’t feel the presence of that mysterious being.

Despite it doesn’t mean that it’s not possible for it to be suddenly appeared just like the last time, it can’t be helped if it turned like that.

Seeing adventurers need to giving up in one way or another.

When push come to shove, if I’m running away the man on the back will be left behind………….. Though I won’t go as far as doing unjust action like that, I have no choice but to do that when I really have no other choice.

If there’s two of us, wither one of us might survive if a mysterious being appeared.

This man too, since he might be able to get just the needed money if this is a success, maybe it’s not that cruel if he’s burdened with that kind of role without his knowledge………… No, that’s cruel huh.

Even so, it can’t be helped.



「……. WeLl TheN, LeT’s TrY To GO AHEad……..」



Nonetheless, at least, my way is I was walking in the front.

The man probability of survival is higher than the one who’s walking in the front.

When I came before, since a mysterious being appeared almost in front of my eyes, I ended up almost couldn’t do anything.

If I’m advancing more slowly, I might be able to do something……………



I keep on advancing on that path with extremely timid step.

The demons which appearing in the passage that passed isn’t that much changed than when I was walking some time ago, it’s mainly Bone Man《Skeleton》, goblin and, slime, it’s not that hard combat.

Though it’s a slightly hard struggle for the man, it’s completely out of the question with his timidity.

As expected, it must be not an idea which he suddenly occured to him, I was strangely admiring him.

Though I want to train him if there’s time, the man deadline is the next few days, I’m not that excellent to the point that I can make other people stronger to this degree.

This is a fact, I have no choice but to abandoning such idea right.

But, if his skill is this terrible, he probably have not enough confidence  to reporting his discovery of this new area of the labyrinth to the Adventurer Guild when he’s coming out.

Since I’ll betroubled by that, I have to at least making some preparation in advance and then, I’ll intructing him only to escape from the demons after this.

If he learn that much, it might be going as planned right, the so called “the possibility that he might reach this place“.



And then, after we’re advancing for a while, it seems we’re finally arrived.

I can see the open room on the other side of the passage.

The place where I meet that mysterious being.



In short, that was the place where, I became a Bone Man《Skeleton》.
